POLITICS IS THE ART OF THE POSSIBLE.

About Libertius

Libertius is a browser based MMORPG currently in development, where you can become anybody. You can be a boring journalist who writes about the directives of European standards, you can be a brave soldier who fights for (or against) his country, you can be a politican, who does some coke on a yacht TOTALLY from his own money, you can be a ruthless dictator who can commit mass genoci... yeah, just got the word from our lawyer, he does not advise us to do that. So lame.

F.A.Q. aka (f)We (A)sk ourselves (Q)uestions and answer them
Q. How will this game be different than the ones we copie...I mean than our competitors?
A. Biggest change will be probably in political system. The ruling party's ideology will have different bonuses for the country. Some simple example: If the ruling party is nationalist, the country's citizenship will get damage bonus in their own battles. Also it will take less time to start wars. If the ruling party is communist, the country's citizenship will get production bonus in their own company in the country. There will be no black market, so players will be forced to use in-game market. The game will be free to play, not free to pay. There will be no option, to buy in-game currency, or items, except probably it will be possible to buy one weapon attachemnt / month. It will be easy to catch up. Our weapon system will force every player, to buy new weapons every once in a while as weapons have durability which will decrease with every hit. Our weapon attachment system will not only give you static, but dynamic bonuses too. For example if you have an attachment with stealth bonus, your damage won't be seen for other players for x seconds. Other example: Hits per second bonus will determine the number of possible hits in one second. and many more...
Q. I never played anything like this.
A. That's not a question, but worry not! The missions will act as a tutorial, which will show you everyting in a fun way, and you will also get rewards for completing them! Also, everything will be documented to our wiki page.
Q. How's the development going?
A. 80% of the game mechanics are implemented, but we still have work to do:
  1. 1. Expand existing game mechanics (like adding more buffs, more ideologies, more missions)
  2. 2. Mobile app (already in progress)
  3. 3. UI design
